Christmas Special Pudding Sweet Dish

Ingredients

  • Boiled water – 150 grams
  • Rum – 170 grams
  • Black current – 240 grams
  • Black Raisins – 185 grams
  • Sultana – 185 grams
  • Prunes – 185 grams
  • Figs – 200 grams
  • Brown sugar – 350 grams
  • Red Cherry – 50 grams
  • Butter – 250 grams
  • Chocolate – 100 grams
  • Vanilla Essence – 10 grams
  • Dates – 150 grams (finely chopped)
  • Flour – 320 grams
  • Cocoa Powder – 20 grams
  • Eggs – 180 grams
  • Baking Powder – 2 grams
  • Cinnamon Powder – 2.5 grams
  • Garam Masala – 2.5 grams
  • Cardamom Powder – 3 grams

Method

  • Combine the black current, prunes, figs, brown sugar, black raisins, sultanas and rum in a mixing bowl and keep them for 24 hours.
  • After 24 hours are complete, add the mixture of dry fruits soaked with flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, dates, butter, spices and eggs.
  • Now apply butter to the pudding mold and lubricate it and pour the mixture into the molds.
  • Then bake it in a double boiler at 140 degrees for 60 minutes.
  • When the pudding is baked well, take it out of the pan and keep it aside to cool.
  • Christmas pudding is ready. 
  • Now cover it with icing wrap to keep it soft and serve all.
