Palak Paneer

Palak Paneer is a very popular veg dish in North India. There are many types of making Palak Paneer  But I can make a very simple and easy recipe to make Palak paneer. This dish is very healthy for everyone. It’s taste is very delicious. It can be a very good dish at any occasion. This recipe can make a few ingredients available in the kitchen.This recipe is made with a combination of palak, onion and tomato gravy and paneer and some spices to enhance the taste of flavour. It can be served with Roti, chapati, naan, bhakri, fulka and rice.

Ingredients

  • 250gm Palak (spinach)
  • 200gm Paneer (Medium size paneer pcs)
  • Fresh Cream (Small bowl)
  • 1 Onion (Roughly chopped)
  • 1 Tomato (roughly chopped)
  • 3 Green Chilli (roughly chopped)
  • 1 Inch Ginger (roughly chopped)
  • 15 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp Jeera
  • 1 ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • ½  tsp Garam Masala
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • ½ tsp Coriander Powder
  • ½ tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp of oil
  • 2 glass of Water

Method

  • First Turn on the Flame put it in the pot, then add it into the 2 glasses of water for boiling. And close the lid.
  • When water is heated then add into the palak and palak put in the water for blanch for 2 minutes only. (We don’t need to boil the palak otherwise palak’s nutrients and colour are gone).
  • Then This palak transfers into the chilled water.
  • After that put it on the pan on the gas when the pan is heated then add into the 1 tsp of oil. Oil is heated then add into the 1 tsp cumin seeds, add into the roughly chopped onion, add into the roughly chopped green chilli, add 1 inch roughly chopped ginger, add 15 Garlic cloves and mix well. Fry the onion when its colour changes to golden.
  • Then add into the roughly chopped tomato and all to mix well. Stir this mixture for 2 to 3 minutes.  When the tomato is soft then turn off the flame.
  • This mixture transfers into the mixer jar and adds boil palak and grind it to the fine paste. (on grinding time if you want water then add 2 tsp of water and then grind it).
  • Then turn on the flame, put it on the pan on it then add into the 1 tsp of oil. Oil is heated then added into the 1 ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder, ½  tsp Garam Masala, ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder, ½ tsp Coriander Powder, ½ tsp Cumin powder and all to mix well.
  • After that pour into the palak Puree. And all to mix well.
  • Then Add into the paneer pcs and all to mix well.
  • Add into the 3 tsp of Fresh Cream and all to mix well.
  • After that add into the 1 tsp of salt and mix well. close the lid and cook for 5 minutes. Then turn off the flame.
  • Garnish Palak Paneer with fresh cream.
  • Serve this hot Palak Paneer with Roti, chapati, naan, bhakri, fulka and rice.
